It feels like stepping into uncharted territory.
What do I say? What can I say? As we all delve into this new endeavour, I'm reminded of the driving force behind WE Equip.
The desire, passion, and purpose.
We knew we needed something to sink our teeth into, Georgia and I had several conversations and brainstorming ideas of what we could do to keep our fantastic teamwork alive.
Meanwhile, Francis, my brother, and Jessica, my fiancée, also felt the itch to do more in life. Like many, I've had countless big dreams, but it's the leap of faith that truly awakens you to life. Diving headfirst into a project without knowing how it will be received or if our product will sell is terrifying, yet incredibly exhilarating. It's scary, but my goodness, it's fun!
I must mention that this business has really shown the importance of family and how well Francis and I can work together. Its great to be able to work so closely with my brother. I genuinely love every moment!
So the four of us, a sheet of paper and maybe a few of drams whisky fell on the name WE Equip. It does what it says on the tin....well almost we are still building this business up and we truly believe we can become the one stop shop for all things Working Equitation and who knows what else.
Anyway back to the pen and paper, My brother and I set out to design a three piece bridge which would be our first piece of equipment to produce and sell. We was always very focused on safety and that's why you'll see how our bridges are so good. Its funny looking back at the countless drawings and prototypes but I think we got there?
Meanwhile, the real powerhouses of the company, Georgia and Jess, took the reins. There's more to these girls than meets the eye! They crafted the entire brand, from logos and slogans to colours, branding, and fonts. Honestly, they've done the business proud.
